Presented to: Ms Kylie Sullivan

Over the past 30 years Kylie has served Catholic Education in the challenging roles of Religious Education Coordinator and Director of Ministry/Mission. During this time Kylie has steered staff and students through many changes in the Religious Education curriculum and represented the Tasmanian Catholic Education Office as mentor to teachers and schools in Queensland as they incorporated elements of Good News for Living and Raise the Bar journals into the Religious Education programs. Kylie has a deep understanding of the religious charisms in the Colleges, and worked as part of the team to plan the inaugral Religious Educators Conference for Tasmania and the Twilight Conversations held at Guilford Young College in 2011.

Kylie is one of the most senior and long serving Religious Education Coordinators in the Archdiocese of Hobart and has mentored a large number of Religious Education teachers, Youth Coordinators at the Edmund Rice Network and through St Vincent de Paul. Her significant contribution to Catholic Education in Tasmania and the ongoing development of Religious Education in our schools makes her a worthy recipient of this Award.
