Simon has served as the Principal of St Patrick’s College for 11 years and has had his outstanding leadership recognised by the St Patrick’s College Governing Council. He continues to lead the College on a clear path of development with initiatives such as Crough Patrick and the Aquaculture Trade Training Centre. During his tenure he has served on the Australian Council of Educational Leadership, the Australian Technical College Northern Tasmania Board and the Tasmanian Catholic Education Commission. He continues to serve as a member of AHISA, Chair of CaSPA, the Grants Allocation Committee, and the Tasmanian Catholic Justice and Peace Commission.

Simon’s commitment and understanding of purpose of Catholic Education along with his values, commitment, dedication and thorough work that has enabled the College to develop and prosper makes him a worthy recipient of this Award.
