Luke McCormack was honoured for his outstanding service as an employee within Catholic Education at the Tasmanian Catholic Education Commission Awards.

Mr McCormack has served in Catholic Education over the past 24 years in positions in Tasmania and interstate. He has been a strong supporter and leader in the mission of Catholic Education at St Patrick’s College, where he has been a Deputy Principal for more than 12 years. During this time he has played a pivotal role in instigating and supporting change at the College during a period of significant growth.

Mr McCormack is well-known among students and staff for his commitment to putting his faith into action and being a positive role model.

He openly shares his Catholic life with the students and provides a wonderful example of the Christian Life.

Mr McCormack’s passion for teaching, leadership and his loyalty is an invaluable asset to the College as well as the wider community.
