Alumni 2016
The Alumni of schools and colleges around the world play an important role to inspire and encourage current and prospective students to aim high, extend themselves academically and creatively, and to pursue their dreams.
The featured Alumni of Tasmania’s Catholic Education system clearly demonstrate what can be achieved through hard work and dedication, and their stories will definitely make a positive impact on today’s students. We are proud of all of our past students and extend our thanks to our featured Alumni for giving so freely of their time and allowing us all to share how a Catholic Education helped them to achieve their dreams and goals.
25 Years of Service Awards 2016
As a community of Catholic Schools, we create a learning environment which provides for the unique needs of each student, encouraging them to reach their full potential.
We work in genuine partnership with our school staffs, parents, caregivers, teachers, parish, students and the wider community to ensure students can respond to the challenges of life.
Our students are richer for the experience of learning from dedicated, long-serving staff, and we take this opportunity to recognise, thank, and congratulate the following individuals who have dedicated 25 years to the service of educating and caring for Tasmanian Catholic School students.

2016 TCEC Recognition Awards
Our students are fortunate to learn in an inclusive environment that values and respects diversity and equity. Our schools foster a culture that empowers young people to think critically, discern wisely and value the search for truth.
Working tirelessly behind the scenes to formulate and manage our structures and policies to deliver life-long learning outcomes for our students are a group of individuals committed to the Catholic ethos and tradition. School principals, teachers, support staff, parish priests and a large group of volunteers work together for the benefit of our students and the school community.
The important work of these remarkable individuals is honored each year with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Commission Recognition Awards. This year, we congratulate 10 individuals from around the State in recognition of their outstanding contribution to Catholic Education in Tasmania.
